Federation of Thai SMEs Signs MOU with Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EEC)

On 26 August 2025, the Federation of Thai SMEs, together with Ms. Thitiphan Janpratak, Managing Director of BRW and President of the Lower Northeastern Region 1, Federation of Thai SMEs, participated in the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EEC). The event took place at Bhiraj Halls 1–3, BITEC, Bangkok.

The agreement highlights a shared commitment to promoting and supporting the development of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) as a strategic mechanism to drive investment and create inclusive opportunities that deliver positive economic and social impacts within the region.

Key objectives of the cooperation include:

  • Enhancing the capacity of local entrepreneurs, community enterprises, and SMEs.
  • Leveraging technology and innovation to develop local wisdom into unique products and services that meet both domestic and international market demands.
  • Expanding market access through marketing, public relations, and distribution support.
  • Driving business operations in alignment with ESG principles and good governance to ensure sustainable development.

This MOU marks an important step toward fostering collaboration between government, private sector, and communities, reinforcing the role of SMEs in contributing to Thailand’s long-term economic growth.
